Fort Osage High School Hires Assistant Principal

Dr. Jason Snodgrass, Superintendent of Schools, is pleased to announce Mr. Joe Bedard as an Assistant Principal at Fort Osage High School. Mr. Bedard will begin his new position effective July 2021.  Bedard is replacing Mr. Andy Zuber who is transitioning to the Fort Osage High School 9th Grade Center Assistant Principal.  

 

“I am excited and honored for the opportunity to join the administrative team at Fort Osage High School. I look forward to supporting our students and staff in any way possible,” said Bedard.  

 

Bedard has been a teacher at Fort Osage High School since 2013. Bedard was also involved in the credit recovery program in addition to being a special education teacher.  Bedard is an assistant football coach, head freshman baseball coach, and assistant varsity baseball coach. 

 

Bedard earned a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and Cross Categorical Special Education from Northwest Missouri State University in 2012.  He holds a Master of Educational Leadership and an Education Specialist in Educational Leaders superintendency from Arkansas State University.
