KINDERGARTEN

• 24 yellow #2 pencils with erasers
• 2 large boxes of facial tissue
• 4 boxes of 24 crayons (preferably Crayola)
• 2 packages of classic color washable markers
• 2 packages of white construction paper 
• 2 packages of colored construction paper
• 4 bottles of white Elmer’s glue bottles or glue sticks
• 1 backpack (large enough for a folder to be placed inside), no rollers
• 6 black dry erase markers
• 1 plastic school box
• 1 pair of Fiskars scissors
• 8 containers of playdoh
• 1 pair of headphones (earbuds do not comfortably fit for Kindergarten students ears)
• 4 composition notebooks
• Zip plastic bags - Boys - 1 sandwich size box / Girls - 1 gallon size box

FIRST GRADE

• 24 #2 pencils (pre-sharpened preferably)
• 4 boxes of 24 count crayons
• 1 inch white binder
• 3 box classic color washable markers
• 4-6 Elmer's glue sticks
• 1 plastic school box
• 2 boxes facial tissues
• 4 black dry erase markers
• 2 pairs of headphones
• 2 K-2 composition notebooks
• 4 packages of sticky notes
• 2 yellow highlighters
• 2 pairs of Fiskars scissors

• 1 backpack (large enough for the binder to be placed inside), no rollers
• 1 Clorox/Lysol wipes container
• 1 box - gallon ziploc baggies
• 1 box - quart ziploc baggies
• 1 box - snack ziploc baggies

SECOND GRADE 

• 3 packages  #2 yellow pencils (24 counts) 
• 2 pair Fiskars scissors 
• 1 composition notebook 
• 2 boxes of 24 count Crayola Crayons 
• 4 pink bevel erasers  
• 2 spiral notebooks (wide rule)
• 3 two pocket folders - blue, red,  & green 
• 2 3-prong, 2-pocket folders - yellow & blue
• 4 Elmer’s glue sticks 
• 4 large boxes facial tissue 
• 2 plastic school boxes 
• 8 black dry erase markers 
• 3 packs washable markers
• 2 sets of earbuds or 2 set of headphones
• 2 yellow highlighters
• 1 package Post-It Notes
• Zip plastic baggies

THIRD GRADE

• 36 #2 pencils (not mechanical)
• 2 pair of headphones or 3 sets of earbuds 
• 1 pair of scissors
• 1 box of 24 count crayons
• 1 box of classic markers
• 4 glue sticks
• 3 two pocket folders - 1 yellow, 1 red, 1 green
• 1 plastic school box
• 3-pack box of facial tissues 
• 8 black dry erase markers  
• 4 composition notebooks (wide ruled)
• 4 large erasers
• 1 package wide-ruled lined paper
• Zip plastic baggies

     o  Boys - 1 sandwich size box / Girls - 1 gallon size box

FOURTH GRADE

• 2 highlighters

• 4 composition notebooks (wide ruled)
• 4 two pocket folders (varying colors) 
• 1 package of wide ruled notebook paper
• 1 package of loose leaf construction paper
• 1 one inch three ringed binder
• 1 pack tabbed dividers
• 2  bottles Elmers glue
• 4 glue sticks
• 2 packages large Post-It Notes
• 1 set of headphones or 2 pairs of earbuds 
• 1 backpack, no wheels

LINC has been a partner of the Fort Osage School District since 1992. Buckner and Cler-Mont elementary schools were two of LINC’s original Caring Communities sites. Today LINC has a presence through its Caring Communities initiative at all five Fort Osage elementary schools.

A Word From The President

PTO stands for Parent Teacher Organization. We are a non-profit organization run by parents just like YOU! Our purpose is to support and enrich the school environment at Elm Grove for all students and staff.

PTO Hosts Events Such As:

• Hosts school parties
• Celebrates our teachers, staff and students with various events
• Funds field trips
• Host after school events such as Grandparents Night; Ties & Tiaras Dance; Glow Party; Pastries with Pals; Movie Night & Trunk or Treat

Meetings
We meet once a month on the 1st Thursday of the month. Meetings are held in the Elm Grove Cafe. Come join us!  Check the Facebook page for times as they may fluctuate.

If you are a parent or friend of Elm Grove, the Elm Grove PTO Facebook page is the best way to stay connected and up to date on all Elm Grove Events!  You will be asked to answer two simple questions to join. Click here to visit the EG PTO Facebook Page.

Be Involved

• Membership – All of your $5 membership goes directly to fund events and projects for the students and staff. This is one of the biggest ways you can support Elm Grove PTO. Everyone involved in your child's life can join.  Parents, Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles, etc. 
• Your membership is not a commitment to volunteer or attend meetings (although we welcome that).
• Volunteer – All events rely on volunteers. Whether you can volunteer one hour or all day, we need volunteers.
• Fundraisers – Because events cost money (and we like to provide FREE events), help with fundraisers. Encourage your child to participate in the Fall and Spring fundraisers.  We also host dining out fundraisers that we host monthly!
