Overview of School Improvement Goals
Cler-Mont Elementary   |   2024-2025 School Year

Goal 1 (Reading Fluency):  The percentage of K-4 students meeting proficiency, as measured by the reading fluency screener, will increase from:

• 80% (May 2024) to 85% in reading accuracy

• 43% (May 2024) to 55% in words correct per minute (wcpm)

• 100% of students will make progress towards their growth goal in both accuracy and words correct per minute

Goal 2 (Writing Conventions):  The percentage of students demonstrating proficiency (score of 3) in writing conventions will increase from 46.0% (May 2024) to 60% by May 2025, as measured by common grade-level dictation sentences.

Goal 3 (Attendance):  The average daily attendance rate will increase from 88.50% (23-24 SY) to 90.00% (24-25 SY), as measured by the Missouri DESE average daily attendance rate calculation.

If financial support is needed for purchasing breakfast and lunch for your child, please complete the Free and Reduced Lunch Application prior to the start of the 2024-2025 school year.  A new form must be completed each school year.

We highly encourage you to complete the form to find out if your child(ren) qualify to receive free or reduced breakfast/lunch prices.  If you are unsure of whether you would qualify for Free & Reduced Lunch prices, we still encourage you to complete the application.

All students in grades K-4th will be provided a Chromebook to use as an instructional tool. 

Students in Kindergarten & 1st Grade:  

• Will be given a Chromebook to use as an instructional tool at school
• Must have a signed AUP form (parents complete during enrollment)
• Will not take the Chromebook home
• Will not pay the $25 insurance fee

Students in 2nd Grade - 4th Grade:

• Will be given a Chromebook to use as an instructional tool at school and at home
• Must have a signed AUP form (parents complete during enrollment)
• Will regularly take the Chromebook home
• Pay the $25 insurance fee

Insurance Fee ($25)

• How to View the Insurance Fee:  You can view this insurance fee on your Campus Parent Portal account. 
   
• How to Pay the Insurance Fee:  The insurance fee can be paid by one of the following ways: 

1. Through the online enrollment in the Campus Parent Portal
2. Cash or check on Meet-the-Teacher Day (Monday, August 19)
3. Cash or check sent to the school (put student name & reason for the money on the envelope)  

• A waiver can be requested from the Cler-Mont Front Office should the fee present a financial hardship.

Online Ordering Option:  School Tool BoxFamilies have the option to order their school supplies through the School Tool Box program.  This program will ship your child's school supplies directly to your house.  Through School Tool Box, families can also customize their school supply order so they only receive the supplies they need (in case they already have some of the supply items). 

See below for instructions on ordering school supplies from the School Tool Box program. 

Reminder:  Families are not required to order school supplies from the School Tool Box online program.  This is an optional online service that is offered to our Cler-Mont families.  

Instructions:

1. Click here to go directly to the Cler-Mont ordering page.
    

2. From there, you will see various supply lists for each grade level.  Select your child's grade level (some grade levels have a package separate for girls and boys). 
    

3. Once you select a grade level supply list, you can eliminate any supplies that you do not need to order (bring the quantity down to "0").  If you would like to order more of a particular supply item, you can increase the quantity, as well.
    

4. Once you finish your order, click "Add To Cart" and complete the payment.
