- The November Fort Osage Board of Education meeting date has changed. The Board will meet on Tuesday, November 21, 2023 for their monthly board meeting.

The Fort Osage Board of Education held their annual Tax Rate Hearing on September 27, 2023 at 5:30 p.m. at the District Administrative Office. The Board approved a roll back to the tax levy of $6.2500. More details can be found at https://drive.google.com/file/

All-District Choir auditions were on Saturday, September 30 . Here are the results from Fort Osage High School. Out of the 15 students that auditioned, 11 of them were selected to one of the choirs. The Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) is pleased to announce the Close the Gap Grant program. DESE is working with the vendor Odyssey to administer this program. This is a one-time grant of up to $1,500 for parents to use for allowable educational expenses for their K-12 public school district and charter school students. Applications will be open from September 20 through October 25, 2023. After applications have been submitted, they will be reviewed for eligibility criteria. The Buckner branch of the Mid-Continent Public Library is hosting From Fanfiction to Fantastic Originals - Saturday, October 14 at 2:00 p.m. Writing fanfiction is a great first lesson in the craft of writing and can become a first step toward publishing a debut novel. This program will show how much can be learned from writing fanfiction and how to transition to creating worlds and characters that are completely one's own. For teens.

Buckner will be hosting a Trunk or Treat event on October 29 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. You can participate by decorating your vehicle's trunk and handing out candy to eager trick-or-treaters.
