The Fort Osage R-I Board of Education is among 26 Missouri school boards earning the Missouri School Boards’ Association’s 2026 Governance Team Award. This prestigious award is based on the outstanding commitment of the school board and superintendent to ongoing professional development in effective governance practices.

Stephanie Watson, a member of the Fort Osage R-I Board of Education, has achieved Distinguished Board Member Certification from the Missouri School Boards’ Association.

Fort Osage High School students Izzy Young and Karsyn Reber earned their way to the Youth Bowling Nationals is summer.

Two of our Buckner Elementary students received awards for their art work: Everleigh Mullendore, 2nd place (K-2) for her Hand With Frog colored pencil drawing and Jaxson Good, 2nd place (3-5) for his Gray Squirrel pencil drawing.

The CTC is excited to announce that HOSA students took home three first-place medals from the State Leadership Conference in Rolla. Abigail DeVaney of Health Science Accelerated took home first place medals in both Occupational Health & Safety and Nursing Assistant, and Alexandria Swearingen of Sports Medicine & Physical Therapy took home first place in Sports Medicine.

Team 5801 CTC Inspire Robotics delivered an impressive showing at the Central Missouri Regional, finishing 3rd out of 36 teams, earning two awards, and battling all the way to the finals against the reigning world champions. Their standout performance secured them a coveted spot at the international FIRST Championships in Houston this April—marking their 6th trip in just 10 years.

At Fort Osage we are helping to educate the next generation of auto workers. Students in the CTC Automotive Technology program competed in the annual Automotive Competition.

Fort Osage High School DECA students are proving they’re business ready.
Four Fort Osage High School students earned on-stage recognition at the Missouri DECA State Competition—an achievement that highlights their professionalism, preparation, and leadership as they look ahead to life beyond high school. These students exemplify what it means to be career- and college-ready. We are incredibly proud of their hard work and excited to see where their talents take them next.
