    The Transportation Department is a team of more than seventy people who are dedicated to serving the transportation needs of all students and their families within the Fort Osage School District.

    The Transportation Department transports approximately 3,900 students on 113 routes daily. There are roughly 132 square miles in the district with buses covering 865,524 miles annually.

    Our team of drivers, assistants, mechanics, trainers, dispatchers, and supervisors all expect one thing;our commitment and dedication will enable all students to arrive safely at school every morning, ready to learn, and will enable all students to arrive safely home every afternoon. We strive to always be safe, efficient, dependable, timely, and to provide transportation that commands dignity and respect.
