Student Council is an active group at Elm Grove. Representatives in second through fourth grade are elected by their peers. During the monthly meetings, representatives discuss ways to raise funds for specific projects within the school and community. In the past two years, Student Council has purchased playground supplies, hosted garage sales, sponsored the annual Math-a-thon, commissioned painting in the cafeteria, provided classroom teachers with books, and the list continues. If you are a student interested in giving back to your school and community, be sure to run for Student Council!

Fort Osage has an App, an all-in-one information source for parents, students, staff, and community. The app provides password-protected access for student and parents to see live grade and attendance information, allowing parents and students to stay up to date on student progress at anytime, from anywhere. From the app, users can also set their own grade and assignment requirements, a feature which allows the parent or student to be immediately alerted through a push notification if a student’s score or grade drops below that self-selected threshold.
