Parents as Teachers
Parents as Teachers builds strong communities, thriving families and children that are healthy, safe and ready to learn by matching parents and caregivers with trained professionals who make regular personal home visits during a child’s earliest years in life, from prenatal through the start of kindergarten.
The Parents as Teachers approach is to partner, facilitate and reflect.
If you are interested in learning more about the Fort Osage Parents as Teachers program, call us when school is in session. A Parent Educator can answer your questions or talk about enrolling in the program.
