Free Summer Meals for Kids 18 and Under
Free Summer Meals for Kids & Teens! From June 2 to August 8, kids and teens 18 and under can enjoy free breakfast lunches around the community.
Monday through Friday lunch from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at:
McCoy Park (Storm Shelter Behind Fire Station 1)
Hawthorne Place Gymnasium (16995 E. Dover Lane)
**Starting June 23rd and running through August 8th***
Monday through Friday lunch will be served from our Fort Osage Food Truck at:
- Hawthorne Apartments North from 10:30-11:00 a.m.
- Farview Library from 11:30 a.m. to noon
- Heisler Park Splash Pad from 12:30-1:00 p.m.
Monday through Friday lunch will be served at the Independence Salvation Army from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
**Starting June 30th and running through August 8th***
Monday through Friday Breakfast will be served from 8:30-10:00 a.m. and Lunch from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Cler-Mont Elementary
No applications. No income requirements. Just stop by and enjoy! A variety of delicious lunches and drinks will be available each day. Adult meals are also available for just $3.50. Please note: Meals will not be served on June 19 or July 4. All are welcome—come join us for a safe, healthy, and fun summer lunch experience!
