We’re excited to kick off Kindergarten enrollment for the 2025-2026 school year! If you know families with children who will be 5 years old by July 31, please help us spread the word—now is the time to enroll!

Please note this is just for incoming Kindergarten students. All current students will receive information about annual enrollment in late spring/early summer.

Last spring, Missouri passed Senate Bill 727, allowing school districts to receive an additional 1% in state funding for maintaining a 169-day school year. Fort Osage has used all six of our allocated AMI (Alternative Methods of Instruction) days, and we are currently at 169 school days in our calendar.

Based on snow days taken, here are the updated changes to the Fort Osage school calendar:  

• Thursday, April 17– Full Day of School (Woodland Early Childhood Center classes will be in session)
• Friday, April 18– Early Release Day (No Woodland Early Childhood Center classes)
• Thursday, May 22- Last Day of School for Woodland Early Childhood Center
• Friday, May 23– Full Day of School (No Woodland Early Childhood Center classes)
• Monday, May 26- No School-Memorial Day
• Tuesday, May 27 – Full Day of School
• Wednesday, May 28- Early Release Day-Last Day of School
