Substitute teachers are an important member of our school success team! Without high quality subs, our schools could not function day to day.
See below for pay rates, how to get substitute teacher certified and upcoming events.
Applicants do not need teaching experience to become a substitute teacher. If hired, we provide an onboarding training on general building information, using our Frontline Jobs system and general teaching tips for those new to the classroom.
Update for 2024-2025 regarding the substitute incentive: Substitutes are eligible for an incentive ($130/month) if ten or more full time teacher/para jobs are worked in one calendar month. These must be full days.
