About McCune
The McCune Campus is owned and operated by the Jackson County Family Court and the educational program is operated by the Fort Osage School District . The structured program based primarily on participation, accountability and pro-social environment. Each resident is expected to participate in a wide range of services including anger management, psychological and psychiatric treatment, social skills training and substance abuse education as well as academic classes provided by the school district.
The McCune program strives to direct delinquent youths to become productive citizens. This is achieved through structured programming that holds youth accountable for past behavior and assists residents in developing a positive self image, self discipline and new ways of thinking and behaving.
