Principal's Message

Welcome to Cler-Mont Elementary!  We are very excited to have you as part of our family. This is a great place for your child's education. We have a wonderful dedicated staff that will surround each student with an environment that allows them to reach and exceed his/her potential. To ensure each student's success we have high expectations as well as a caring environment that encourages students to develop self monitoring skills. This will help them to develop into good citizens as well.

The partnership we have with our families and community is vital to the learning process. A good partnership will encourage students to develop a love of learning as well as become positive contirubitng members of our society. We concentrate on the "Character Trait of the Month" which will begin in September. A character trait will be the focus each month thta will foster each student's sense of pride and self managing abilities.

We will have around 340 students for the 2008-2009 school year with the new boundaries, over 35 staff, and a multitude of programs and events that will take place this year. I look foward to getting to know each and everyone of you. We have many opportunities for parents to become involved in throughout the year and I encourage you to take advantage of those as well as becoming involved in our PTA and Caring Communities.
