Believers and Achievers Award

The heart of the 'Believe to Achieve' initiative in Fort Osage is our belief that by working skillfully together, we can ensure that all students are learning and maximize success for all. In this spirit, we would like to initiate the 'Believers and Achievers' award for those staff members who exemplify the characteristics we value in Fort Osage.

So take this opportunity to nominate a Fort Osage staff member who inspires you with their hard work, their belief in students, their caring nature, or their persistance in the faces of challenges. Tell us their story and we'll share it with the rest of the district. Our belief in ourselves and each other is among our most valuable strengths---share what you know about people doing great things so that they can inspire and teach others as well.

Everything Possible (by Maria Fleming)

In my 20-plus years in education, I've been fortunate to have the opportunity to attend many local and national conferences, and to hear more influential keynote speakers than than I can even remember. For the most part I've enjoyed these opportunities, and I've taken the things I've learned and incorporated them with my existing educational philosophy and practices. So whether Rick DuFour was talking about collaboration...
