Youth Co-Ed Volleyball Registration
Students in grades 3-7 in the Fort Osage and Independence School Districts are invited to participate in a youth volleyball league.  Click here for complete details. 

Mobile Food Pantry
Fort Osage has a Harvesters Mobile Food Pantry on the third Thursday of each month.  Registration is at the Harmony Heights Baptist Church from 4-5 with pick up at the Fort Osage Church of the Nazarene.  The Heart of God Fellowship also offers Harvesters on the 2nd Monday and 5th Tuesday of every month from 5:00-7:00 p.m.    There are no qualifications for either location.

 
Storytime for Families-August 28
The Buckner Branch of the Mid-Continent Public Library is happy to host Storytime for Families at 10:00 a.m. on August 28.  All ages are welcome to attend.  

Buckner Festival in the Valley-September 20
Join the parade fun on Saturday, September 20 at 10:00 a.m.  You can enter a float or just come and watch.  Click here to register to be in the 50's sock hop theme parade.  

CLS Golf Classic-September 22
Community Service League is hosting an inaugural golf classic to help raise money for neighbors in need.  The event will be held September 22 at Drumm Farm Golf Club with a 9:00 a.m. shotgun start.  For more details, contact Dena Morrison at 816-912-4485.

Texas Hold'Em-September 27
The Fort Osage High School Band Booster Club is hosting a Texas Hold'Em Poker Tournament on September 17 at the Buckner Town Hall.  Doors open at 6:00 p.m. and the tournament starts at 7:00 p.m.  Click here for details.

Arts and Crafts Festival-September 27
Multiple local artist and crafters will have products for sale on September 27 from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Fort Osage High School.  This is a fundraiser for the Fort Osage National Art Honor Society. Click here for complete details.

Cheerleader for a Day-September 27
Join the Fort Osage High School Cheerleaders for a cheer clinic on September 27 from 9:00-11:00 a.m. at the Fort Osage High School West Gym.  This clinic is open to students in K-6th grade.  This is a fundraiser to help send the competition squad to the NCA National Competition.  Click here for complete details.        


Red Barn Bash-November 1
The Fort Osage Education Foundation invites you to join in the Boot-Scootin' fun at the boots and blue jeans Red Barn Bash on November 1 at Sibley Orchard.  A BBQ dinner, auction, and entertainment will be provided.  You won't want to miss Country Music Artist and Fort Osage Alum Noe Palma.  Click here for complete details.
