Mobile Food Pantry
Fort Osage has a Harvesters Mobile Food Pantry on the third Thursday of each month.  Registration is at the Harmony Heights Baptist Church from 4-5 with pick up at the Fort Osage Church of the Nazarene.  The Heart of God Fellowship also offers Harvesters on the 2nd Monday and 5th Tuesday of every month from 5:00-7:00 p.m.    There are no qualifications for either location.


Project Grad Fundraiser-September 22-October 3
Join in the fun and vote for the cutest baby during high school lunch shifts September 22-October 3.  Project Grad will be collecting money to vote for the cutest senior football player baby picture.    

Indianettes Fundraiser- September 22

Take in the attached coupon to Buffalo Wild Wings on September 22 and 10% of the sales will go to help support the Fort Osage High School Indianettes.  Click here for your coupon.   

Punt, Pass, and Kick- September 22

Elm Grove Elementary is hosting the local Punt, Pass, and Kick on September 11 from 4:00-5:00 p.m. for boys and girls ages 6-15.  Talk to the school LINC Caring Communities Site Coordinator for details.  

CLS Golf Classic-September 22
Community Service League is hosting an inaugural golf classic to help raise money for neighbors in need.  The event will be held September 22 at Drumm Farm Golf Club with a 9:00 a.m. shotgun start.  For more details, contact Dena Morrison at 816-912-4485.

Punt, Pass, and Kick- September 24
Cler-Mont Elementary is hosting the local Punt, Pass, and Kick on September 11 from 3:30-4:30 p.m. for boys and girls ages 6-15.  Talk to the school LINC Caring Communities Site Coordinator for details.  

Storytime for Families-September 25
The Buckner library is hosting Storytime for families on September 25 at 10:00 a.m.  All ages are welcome and no registration is required.  

Internet Safety-September 25
Find out how to protect yourself while surfing the web.  This session discusses a few typical dangers encountered online and how to proactively keep your information safe.  Adults and teens are invited to the Buckner library at 7:00 p.m. for this session.  Registration is required.  

Texas Hold'Em-September 27
The Fort Osage High School Band Booster Club is hosting a Texas Hold'Em Poker Tournament on September 17 at the Buckner Town Hall.  Doors open at 6:00 p.m. and the tournament starts at 7:00 p.m.  Click here for details.

Arts and Crafts Festival-September 27
Multiple local artist and crafters will have products for sale on September 27 from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Fort Osage High School.  This is a fundraiser for the Fort Osage National Art Honor Society. Click here for complete details.

Cheerleader for a Day-September 27
Join the Fort Osage High School Cheerleaders for a cheer clinic on September 27 from 9:00-11:00 a.m. at the Fort Osage High School West Gym.  This clinic is open to students in K-6th grade.  This is a fundraiser to help send the competition squad to the NCA National Competition.  Click here for complete details.        


Fort Osage Indians Pop Warner Fundraiser-September 27
The Fort Osage Indians Pop Warner Cheerleaders are having a poker tournament fundraiser on September 27 at Side Pockets in Blue Springs.  Contact Gretchen at gretch92883@yahoo.com for more details.   

Fort Osage Cheerleader Fundraiser-September 29

Clean out your closet and help support the Fort Osage Cheerleaders with their Red Racks Fundraiser.  There will be a truck parked at the high school from 5:00-8:00 p.m. on September 29 to collect your donation of gently used clothing and shoes.  Small household items will also be accepted.

Pop Warner Fundraiser-October 12
Join in the fun October 12 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. at Lunar Bowl and support the Fort Osage Pop Warner Cheer and Football program.  You can get two hours of unlimited bowling for just $15 and 50% of the ticket sales come back to the program.  Contact Gretchen Kern at gretch92883@yahoo.com for tickets.   

Building Champions Bruins Fundraiser-October 19

Join in the fun on the golf course October 19 at 1:00 p.m. to help support the Building Champions Bruins U14 AAA/Major Baseball Team.  Cost is $75 per person.  Click here for more details.

Fort Osage Food Service Fundraiser-October 28
Join in the fun for a great cause on October 28 by eating at McDonalds from 4:00-8:00 p.m. (814 North Highway 7 location).  A percentage of all sales will go back to the Fort Osage Food Service Department.

Red Barn Bash-November 1
The Fort Osage Education Foundation invites you to join in the Boot-Scootin' fun at the boots and blue jeans Red Barn Bash on November 1 at Sibley Orchard.  A BBQ dinner, auction, and entertainment will be provided.  You won't want to miss Country Music Artist and Fort Osage Alum Noe Palma.  Click here for complete details.
